Supermoons
Saturday, 11th February 2019
Next Astronomy Club theme taking place in February looks at the moons of other planets as well as our own and, since it is almost half a century since a human first set foot on the moon, we celebrate the 50 years since the moon landing.
The session includes:
Learning about how astronauts and other missions get into space in our Rockets workshop and launch a water powered rocket into the night sky.
> Taking a closer look at our Moon with our telescopes and binoculars (weather permitting)
> Continuing with our ongoing solar system craft activity
> Taking part in various Moon related craft activities
> Enjoying hands on activities in our café area.
