I began working in marketing and communications at 17 before going on to study Sports Journalism at the University of Gloucestershire. With a background in sport having covered events at Wembley Stadium and Twickenham I moved in to marketing within local government.

After spending some time with Wrexham Council and in particular the North Wales Economic Ambition Board where my role was to generate interest in a multi-billion pound economic growth bid, I opted to take the opportunity to take the lead with marketing and communications here at Techniquest Glyndwr and broaden my horizons further within the world of science and technology.

I still work for Wrexham Football Club having done so since I was 17 and have a huge passion for the club. Much like Techniquest, Wrexham AFC is the heartbeat of the community and brings passion and pride to our town, and as such it’s a privilege to follow them up and down the country conducting numerous roles within media and to be given the opportunity to have an inside knowledge of the running of the club.

When I’ve got any spare time I’m often travelling here there and everywhere watching other football, whilst I like to visit the cinema, gigs and restaurants with my partner. I love spending time with my young nephew which is also always fun, a visit to Techniquest is certainly on my mind for him!
